Obituary: Tyler Bruce Jessee, 14, member, Trinity UMC

Adair County Schools throughout district closed Monday for service

Tyler Bruce Jessee, 14, 383 Keen Wilson Road, Columbia, KY, passed away Friday, November 3, 2006, at 6:19am CT, at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.

He was a student at Adair County High School and was fond of all his friends. In a tribute which reflects that love, all Adair County Schools are closed for the funeral.

Services will be Monday, November 6, 2006, at 11:00am at Trinity United Methodist Church, where Tyler was a member. Rev. Garry Jones, Rev. William R. Davenport, and Rev. Troy Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.



Tyler is survived by his parents, Tony and Ann Spires Jessee, Columbia, KY, and by the following:
  • His paternal grandmother: Arleen Jessee, Columbia, KY

  • Maternal grandfather: Joe H. Spires, Columbia, KY

  • And several aunts, uncles, cousins and host of special friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Trinity United Methodist Church Building fund and may be made at the funeral home.Visitation will be after 10:00am, Sunday, November 5, 2006, and from 6:00am until 9:30am on Monday, November 5, 2006 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg, ST, Columbia, KY.

Visitation at Trinity United Methodist Church, Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY, will be on Monday, November 6, 2006, after 10:00am until the time of the funeral.

for Tyler Bruce Jesee;schools closed for funeral

Tyler Bruce Jessee, a student at Adair County High School, died Friday, November 3, 2006, after an illness.

Services will be today, Monday, November 6, 2006, at 11:00am at Trinity United Methodist Church, where Tyler was a member. Rev. Garry Jones, Rev. William R. Davenport, and Rev. Troy Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.

A member of his Trinity United Methodist Church family, remembering him, said, "He was a wonderful little boy who touched the lives of many. I can close my eyes and see him now sitting in his regular pew at Trinity," and added this note, "All of us at Trinity are heartbroken for what we lost, but Heaven just gained an Angel. And that warms our souls."

Adair County Schools are closed District wide for the service.
