Marilyn Marie Corbin Montgomery dies at age 50

Services will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home for Marilyn Marie Montgomery who passed away Sunday. A resident of Liberty Road in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Corbin and Delpha Keith Corbin who survives in Columbia.

Besides her mother, she is survived by:
  • Her husband Kenneth Eugene Montgomery of Columbia

  • Two sons: Daniel Kevin Montgomery and his wife Kelly of Elkhorn, KY and Jason Shane Montgomery and his wife Jessica of Columbia

  • One sister, Deloris Gaskin of Columbia

  • Eight grandchildren (she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jacob Tyler Montgomery, in 2005)

  • Two nieces: Marilyn Hope Freeman and her husband Frank, and Shannon Dell Duggins and her husband Michael.
Visitation is after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Bro. Wayne Keith will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.
