Kenneth R. Bryant, 71, Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ

Kenneth R. Bryant, age 71, of 51 Rattler Curry RD, Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday May 27, 2006, at 2:15pm, at his home after an illness.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at 10:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Clergy Bro. Ralph Foster the officiating clergy. Interment in Bearwallow Cemetery, Christine, KY.

He was the son of the late Carter and Bertha Burton Bryant.

Mr. Bryant was a member of Bloomington Chapel Brethren In Christ Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Ellen Simpson Bryant, on September 10, 1977.

He is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Kim Bryant, Columbia, KY

  • One son: Mike Bryant and his wife Anita, Edinburgh, IN

  • Two brothers: Charles Bryant of Edinburgh, IN; and Archie Bryant of Florida

  • One sister: Velva Burton, Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Chris Bryant, Joey Bryant,and Casey Bryant

  • A special little friend Whittney Ford

  • And several nieces, nephews a host of other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Keaven Bryant, Larry Bryant, and Garry Bryant; and three sisters, Lettie Burton, Jewell Williams, Betty Ellis.

Visitation after 130 P. M. Monday, May 29, 2006, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.
