David L. Johnson, 72, Columbia, KY (1953-2026) David Lee Johnson of Columbia died on June 25, 2026, at his residence. He was 72 years old. A graveside service will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Crown Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn Road, Campbellsville, KY, with Pastor K.F. Tuck officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. He was born August 30, 1953, in Taylor County, to the late Charles Henry Johnson and Lillian Frances Bridgewater Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Valenia Taylor Johnson and a step-daughter, Telicia Taylor. David made a profession in Christ at an early age at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was a member of New Grace Fellowship. To many he was known as "Pie" or "Cat Daddy" because of his love for Cadillacs and he always made sure to play his "Numbers". Survivors include:
