Adair Co. Retired Teachers Association to meet June 9 By Mary Ann McQuaide The Adair County Retired Teacher Association will meet at 10amCT on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Adair County Chamber of Commerce Building, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY. If you are a new retiree- and there were several- please join us for retirement recognition. Our local AARP grandparent essay winner will be reading her written tribute to her grandparent. Sheriff Gary Roy will be speaking to our group about fraud prevention. Dues for the up-coming year may be paid and we will be collecting donations for school supplies as well as the food pantry.
