Dallas Pickett, Jr., 80, Jamestown, KY (1946-2026)

Dallas Pickett, Jr., of Jamestown, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs. He was 80 years old.

He was born January 14, 1946 to the late Dallas Pickett and Emma Bryant Pickett in Columbia, Kentucky. He attended the Jamestown Christian Church and he served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a grave digger and assembled mobile homes for many years.


Survivors include:
  • Four sons- Joshua Pickett (Latessia) of Russell Springs; Jeremy Pickett of Russell Springs; Jason Brockman (Liz) of Campbellsville; Thomas Riley of Coppar's Cove, Texas
  • Two daughters: Sandra Riley (Dee) of Coppar's Cove Texas and Jessica Pickett of Jamestown
  • One sister- Evelyn Joy Steinborn (Erhardt) of Sherwood, Oregon
  • Twenty-one grandchildren and one great grandchild, plus a host of relatives and friends.
In accordance with Dallas' wishes, cremation was chosen and burial will be in the Columbia Cemetery.
