Drusilla Georgia Mae Claudine Allen, 92, Burkesville, KY Drusilla Georgia Mae Claudine (Smith) Allen of Burkesville, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville having attained the age of 92 years, 4 months & 10 days. She was born on Sunday, January 14, 1934 to Charlie Cleveland "C.C." and Eliza Jane (Phares) Smith. She was of Nazarene faith and member of Center Point Nazarene Church. She was a devout homemaker and worked at Bob Evans for many years. She loved her family and was proud of each and every one of them, right down to the great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Allen, whom she wed on Saturday, November 14, 1953; son, Danny Cleveland Allen; brother, J.C. Smith; sisters, Patsy Poindexter & Maxine Radford; half-siblings, Sam Smith, Pauline Garner, Olene Watson, Geneva Ferguson, Howard Reed Smith, and Charles Edwin Smith; Paternal grandparents, Sam & Josephine (Williams) Smith; Maternal grandparents, Jim & Eliza (Moreland) Phares. She is survived by her children, David (& Debbie) Allen of New Castle, Indiana, John (& Tammy) Allen of Edmonton, Kentucky, Claudine (& Todd) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky; siblings, Leon (& Faye) Smith of Burkesville, Kentucky, Stanna Page of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, James (& Connor) Allen, Taylor (& Marshall) Henson, Allie (& Trent) Thomas, Jax Allen, Jozie Allen, Isacc Allen, Emilia (& Jaysen) Judd; great-grandchildren, Adilyn Henson, Beau Allen, Berkley Reed Henson, Asher Allen, Razzie Mae Thomas, Ripton Thomas & Revie Thomas; Several Nieces & Nephews also survive. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 2pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Neal Owsley, Bro. Dennis Smith, and Bro.
