Barbara Faye Pierce, 85, Windsor, KY Barbara Faye Pierce, of Windsor, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at her residence. She was 85 years, and 8 days of age. Born on May 17, 1941, in Russell County, Barbara was a daughter of the late Colvin and Dorothy Harris Wilson. Barbara was a former employee of Proctor and Gamble, in Ohio, before becoming a familiar face at the Kmart jewelry counter in Russell Springs. When not working, she enjoyed being able to watch her grandchildren, that were her pride and joy. Barbara was a member of Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church. Barbara is survived by her husband, Vernon Lee Pierce, of Windsor; her son, David Pierce, of Windsor; her brother, Ronnie Wilson, of Nancy; her sisters, Brenda (and Harlan) Robertson, Bonnie Gill, Paula (and Paul) Robertson, and Debra (and Mitchell) Robertson, all of Russell County; her grandchildren, Whitney (and Jayce) Shepperd, Clay Pierce, Kaylee (and Davis) Hughey, Cole Pierce (and Emily), and Chance McQueary (and Katy); great grandchildren, Mia Pierce, Haylee Pierce, Luna Shepperd, Paisley Shepperd, Ellie Ann Hughey, Pierce Hughey, and Collins Pierce; and a special daughter-in-law, Norma Pierce. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by two sons, Randy Pierce and Kenny Pierce. Funeral services are at 1pmCT on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Rick Stump officiating. Burial will follow in Bradley's Pleasure Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 10amCT and continue until the time of services. Roger Campbell, Ronnie Campbell, Clay Pierce, Cole Pierce, Troy Walters, and Preston Robertson will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to Bradley's Pleasure Cemetery Fund. Donations can be made at the funeral home. This story was posted on 2026-05-27 22:54:49
