Patsy Ann Jenkins, 84, Columbia, KY native (1942-2026)

Patsy Ann Jenkins of Graham, North Carolina, and formerly of Columbia, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 8, 2026. She was 84 years old. Born Patsy Ann Garrison on February 25, 1942, in Columbia, Kentucky, she lived a full and devoted life filled with love, dedication, and quiet joy.

Funeral services will be held at 2pmCT on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. Burial will follow in the Garrison Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Thursday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Patsy was a woman of many gifts and passions. After a meaningful career spanning 25 years, she retired from Walmart in Campbellsville, KY, where she was known as a reliable and kindhearted employee. Her days were often filled with the simple pleasures she cherished deeply--assembling jigsaw puzzles, tackling crossword puzzles and word searches, and watching the timeless episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. She formerly attended Milltown Church.

Patsy is survived by her beloved children: Steve Jenkins (Tammy) of Somerset, KY, Kevin Jenkins (Shelly) of Columbia, KY and Margo Pennington (Gary) of Graham, NC. Her grandchildren Elizabeth Jenkins of Bowling Green, KY, Olivia Jenkins, and Ashtin Jessie (Kent), both of Columbia, KY; Step grandchildren Donavan, Briana, and Kierra Pennington of NC; great-grandchildren Evelyn Abrell and Heidi Jessie, along with step-great-grandchildren Mia Pennington, Kendall Vestal, and Keegan Vestal, each held a special place in her heart. She was also survived by a special caregiver Sarah Enoch.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Roy Allen and Rosa Lillian Thomas Garrison. She also mourned the loss of her siblings Samuel Garrison, Eva Baker, and Lewis Garrison, whose memories she held close.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Authoracare Hospice at 914 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at stottsphelpsmcquearyfh.com.
