Larry E. Cook, 83, Green County, KY

Larry E. Cook of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Huel Cook and Irene Judd Cook, was born on Saturday, August 22, 1942 in Greensburg and departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Signature Healthcare in Horse Cave. He was 83 years, 8 months, and 3 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church and was the owner of Larrys Carpets.


He was united in marriage to Cleta Beth Milby Cook on July 8, 1961, who preceded him in death on October 16, 2019.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Dana and Kenny Morgan of Green County; son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Tina Cook of Glasgow; seven grandchildren: Taylor Cook of Summersville, Chris Morgan of Green County, Jace Cook, Morgan Gossett, Kylee Jackson, Heidi Jackson, Ty Jackson all of Glasgow; one great-grandchild: Colt Gossett of Glasgow.

The funeral service for Larry E. Cook will be conducted at 10amCT, Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. Bro. Freddie Thompson officiating. Burial will be the next day at Green County Memory Gardens.
