Margaret Marie Miller, 96, Adair County, KY

Margaret Marie Miller, 96, formerly of Adair County, died Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

She was born October 22, 1929, in Adair County, to the late Joseph Clayton and Amanda Claiborne Goodin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Miller, two children, Kathy Hare and Gerald Miller and her ten siblings. She formerly worked for Arvin Industries, was a Caregiver and homemaker.


Survivors include:

Two daughters - Connie Leathers (Gerry Tetreau) of Lexington, North Carolina and Aleta Miller of Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Three sons - Dean Miller (Norma) of Knifley, Darryl Miller (Julie) of Glens Fork, Dwight Miller (Roxie) of Haynesville, Georgia

Seven grandchildren - Michael Shawn Hare (Monica), Angela Crawhorn (Charlie), Donald Hare (Stacy), Carla Russell (Gaylon), Greg Miller (Angela), Erik Miller, Andrew Miller (Leah)

Seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service - Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 10amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Dwan Hadley officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4pmCT Friday

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Kate B. Reynold Hospice House, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 27103, or can be left at the funeral home.
