Clinton Smith, age 73, Russell County, KY Clinton Smith, age 73, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, March 10 2026. He was born on Wednesday, October 08 1952, in Somerset, KY, the son of Adelyne Ashbrooks Smith and Burval G. Smith, who preceded him in death. Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Dr. Lindsey Murray, spouse Joey, of Jamestown KY; and Lacey Smith, of Dunnville KY 1 Son: Logan Smith, of Dunnville KY. 1 Brother: Michael Smith, of Cincinnati, OH He is survived by four grandchildren, Evelyn Claire Wilson, Easton Riggs Wilson, Cyrus Bond and Ruach Yocum, a special niece Melinda Stephens and a brother in law, Jimmie George. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. He worked as a Superintendent at the Kentucky State Highway Department where he retired after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed farming and was an incredibly hard worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Brenda Wilson and Carleen George. Funeral services will be 2pmCT Friday, March 13, 2026 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be at 10 on Friday. Pallbearers are: Nathan Stephens, Joe Sullivan, Scottie Huckaby, Jeffro Burton, Jay Murrell and Jimmy Antle. Honorary pallbearers are: Gary D. Robertson, Lee Smith and James McGowan.
