Edward Guy Benningfield, Jr., 75, Columbia, KY (1950-2026) Edward Guy Benningfield, Jr., of Columbia, died on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown. He was 75 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Clay Scott and Bro. Steve Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Thursday. He was born April 25, 1950, in Hodgenville, Kentucky, to the late Edward Guy and Jeanette Lile Benningfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Ricky Benningfield. He was a member of Cane Valley Baptist Church, a former mail carrier and Park Ranger for the Corps of Engineers. Survivors include:
