I have wondered the same thing; I buy gas in Edmonton for $2.39, while it's $2.69 in Columbia. It's always higher here than any adjoining county. It's been that way for years. Every time they build a new station we hear oh we'll have some competition now on gas but it's always the same, the new place just charges what everyone else does. I can't see a reason why Columbia/Adair is so high all the time.
