City of Columbia Christmas decorations The City of Columbia is excited to announce additional new items to the Christmas decorations for our community. "We have new decorations on the square," noted Mayor Hoots. "We hope that people will enjoy as they shop local for the holidays." In addition to the Public Square, Citizens Park will be decorated on Burkesville Street. The city will again schedule caroling at Citizens Park on the following Friday and Saturday evenings: December 5 and 6, December 12 and 13, and December 19 and 20, 2025. If your church or organization would like to participate, contact the Mayor's Office at 270-384-6183. In addition to the drive-through Christmas displays at the Little League Park, Veterans Park on South Highway 55 will be decorated lights for the holiday season. "We hope that you enjoy these lights and have a wonderful Christmas," said Mayor Hoots. This story was posted on 2025-11-21 08:44:19
