Magistrate field continues to grow

Although County Clerks have up to 5 days to process candidate filings, Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer says that their office has been keeping local filings up to date so far. Two more candidates had their paperwork processed to run for local office in 2026 elections on Wednesday, November 12, 2025:
  • Carley Fudge (R) filed for Magistrate/Justice of the Peace, 4th District
  • Daryl Flatt (R) filed for Magistrate/Justice of the Peace, 2nd District
Candidates who must be on the ballot in the primary have until January 9, 2026, to file their paperwork. See: Candidate filing forms are available online.
