Kay Stephens, 74, Russell County, KY

Kay Stephens, 74, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 while in the company of family. She was born in Russel Springs, KY on January 2, 1950, a daughter of Alberta (Foley) Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY and the late Donald Thomas.

She was a member of Bernard Ridge Church of God and a homemaker. She was the wife of Hollis (Cee) Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY.


Kay is survived by a daughter, Pam, wife of Randy Stephens-Stargle, of Russell Springs, KY; two sons Danny, husband of Lori Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY; Torry Ryder, of Russell Springs, KY;

Kay is also survived by seven sisters, Donita Stephens, of Jamestown, KY; Teresa Coffey, of Anderson, IN; Joyce Wheat, of Russell Springs, KY; Rhonda Marples, of Vero Beach, FL; Mickey Pennington, of Jamestown, KY; Karen Marples, of Liberty, KY; Kerri Barnes, of Russell Springs, KY.

two brothers, Randy Thomas, of Jamestown, KY; Scott Thomas, of Russell Springs, KY;

She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her father 2 brothers Larry Joe Thomas and Donald Leon Thomas. 2 sisters Celia Dale Thomas and Linda Sue Thomas.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM CT on Tuesday, November 5th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Eric Richardson and Bro. Johnny Mark Dunbar officiating.

Friends may visit after 4:30 Monday, November 4th and after 8amCT on Tuesday, November 5th at Bernard Ridge Church of God in Russell Springs, KY.

Interment at Stephens - Bernard Cemetery, KY.
