Shannon Rogers, 47, Greensburg, KY Shannon Louise Rogers was born October 10, 1977 to Edwin "Poochie" Rogers and the late Tracy Louise Ray Rogers. She departed this life Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Greensburg, KY, having attained the age of forty-seven years and seventeen days. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church. She worked for Chick-fil-A. Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by one sister: Marty Lynn Rogers. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Javon Embry and Amber Embry, both of Greensburg, KY, her father: Edwin "Poochie" Rogers of North Carolina, one brother: Edwin Beanie JR Rogers of Campbellsville, one half-sister: Sarah Rogers of North Carolina, two grandchildren: Kai and Knox Embry, her aunts and uncles: Darlene Curry, Helen Ray, Louise Bentle, Carolyn Mitchen, Tommy Rogers, Cathy Ray, Fred Rogers and Sandra Rogers, plus a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Shannon Louise Rogers will be conducted at 1pmCT Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Foster-Toler Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Green County. Visitation will be from 11 until the funeral hour. Minister: Bro. Cliffton Sullivan. Pallbearers: Tommy Rogers, Nathan Ray, Marcus Price, Cody Armstrong, Javon Embry, Leslie "Bimbo" Ray The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to help with the funeral expenses.
