Betty Joyce Grant, 82, Columbia, KY (1942-2024) Betty Joyce (Bunch) Grant of Columbia passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at T. J. Health Columbia. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Donnie Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the Grant Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10amCT until 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born in Glensfork, KY on September 11, 1942, to the late Rufus and Hazel Gifford Bunch. She was preceded in death by her husband Wellie Paul Grant. Mrs. Grant was of the Christian faith and enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, singing and playing music, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters Sherry Burton (Eric) of Columbia, KY and Margaret McInteer (Enis) of Glensfork, KY; two grandchildren Kristie Wilson of Greensburg, KY and Heather Hale of Columbia, KY; two great grandchildren Kieffer Paul Wilson and Kinsley Hale; three siblings Bobbie Hadley of Columbia, KY, Helen Meece of Somerset, KY, and Donnie Bunch (Patty) of Glensfork, KY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Richard Paul Grant and five siblings Frances Kelly, Rufus Junior Bunch, Paul Bunch, Buddy Bunch, and Audra Emily Bunch. Pallbearers will be Kieffer Wilson, Billy Hadley, Jeff Hadley, Anthony Hadley, Kinsley Hale, Chester Whittington, and Carthel Franklin.
