Rhonda Kay Smither, 54, Casey County, KY Rhonda Kay Smither, of Liberty, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the Casey County Hospital. She was 54. She was born September 18, 1970, in Ohio to the late William Earl and Mary Lee Long Wilson. She was a homemaker. She loved her grandbabies, enjoyed her tv shows and shopping on Temu. Some of her other favorite activities were playing Mario Golf and Kart and playing Spades and Euchre. Rhonda is survived by her husband, Benjie Smither of Liberty; her sons, Austin Smither of Liberty and Patrick Greene (and Melissa) of Richmond; her daughter, Tasha Smither of Campbellsville; her brothers, Greg Wilson (and Jennifer) of Liberty and Brandon Wilson (and Mindy) of Russell Springs; her sisters, Tammy Porter (and Paul) of Liberty, Melody Smith (and Tony) of Liberty, Christy Sweet (and Jeff) of Moreland, Amanda Hatter of Liberty, Susan Phillippe (and David) of Eli, Angie Meeks (and Ramie) of Liberty, Sara Gosser of Liberty and Trisha Smither of Columbia; her seven grandchildren, Kaylix, Brylee Kay, Cheyanne, Jaylin, Kaydin, Luke and Jayden. Funeral services will be at 1pmET on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Don Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Smither, Patrick Greene, Joe Smither, Greg Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Lee Meeks. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 on Thursday.
