Bessie Louise Larimore, 90, Cumberland County, KY Bessie Louise Smith Larimore, daughter of the late James Anderson Smith and Bessie Lorene Smith, was born on Saturday, January 13, 1934 in Cumberland County and departed this life on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 90 years, 9 months, and 5 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a housewife, a member of the Gideon Auxiliary, and formerly served as a Sunday School teacher. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Robert Ollie Larimore, having united in marriage on February 6, 1954. Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Gary and Susan Larimore, Barry and Sherree Larimore all of Greensburg, Byron and Michelle Larimore of Columbia; five grandchildren: Lauren Melton of Tenneesee, Bethany Brown of Elizabethtown, Kimberly Mullins of Campbellsville, Kyle Larimore of Illinois, Brett Larimore of Columbia; six great-grandchildren: Anne Claire, Aidan, Monroe, Annabelle, Cooper, Caylen; two step-grandchildren: Shawn Milby of Greensburg, Shae Simpson of Indiana; five step-great-grandchildren: Chase, Cali, Sydney, Griffin, Hadley; three sisters: Margaret Larimore of Campbellsville, Bernice Ward of Greensburg, Linda Thomas of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Cynthia Larimore; a grandchild: Kristen Larimore; three sisters: Ovena White, Thelma Clark, Annetta Jeffries; and two brothers: Howard Smith, Earl Wayne Smith. The funeral services for Mrs. Louise Larimore will be conducted at 12noonCT Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Beech Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 Monday and after 7 Tuesday until time of the service. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
