Steve Bell, 68, Russell County, KY (1956-2024)

Steve A. Bell, 68, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024.

He was born in Jamestown, KY on August 2, 1956, a son of the late Alta Mae (Simpson) and Claude A, Bell. He was a retired truck driver.


Steve is survived by:

a daughter, Dana M. Bell, of Jamestown, KY.

a son, Steve A. Bell, Jr. (Teresa), of Jamestown, KY.

six sisters, Helen Flowers, of FL; Francis Garner, of Jamestown, KY; Linda Huddleston, of Jamestown, KY; Carol Claborn, of Russell Springs, KY; Peggy Popplewell, of Jamestown, KY; Deloris Mann, of Jamestown, KY.

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Madison, Peyton, Landon, Logan, and Hunter, special friend Stella Mann as well as other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Cathy Barfield Bell, three brothers Bobby, Andy and Ernie Bell, four sisters, Donna Bell, Opal Foley, Margaret Pickett and infant Mary Lois Bell.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY. Friends may visit 5 to 8 Monday.

Burial in the Kean Graveyard Jamestown, KY.
