Deborah Roberts, 60, Russell Springs, KY (1964-2024) Deborah Roberts, 60, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset, KY, on July 11, 1964, to the late Waldo and Alta Stargel Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Roberts, and a brother, Randy Smith. Mrs. Roberts was a certified nursing assistant. She loved her family dearly and was known for her caring nature. Survivors include her two daughters, Kristi Stearns (Travis) of Russell Springs, KY, and Tracy Ruble (Joel) of Vero Beach, FL; her son, O.G. Kelsey of Russell Springs, KY; her brother, Benny Jo Smith of Russell Springs, KY; her four sisters, Judy Carta (Larry) of Russell Springs, KY, Mary West of Russell Springs, KY, Shirley Hall of Somerset, KY, and Colleen Burton of Russell Springs, KY. She is also survived by her special "son-grandson," Jonah M.O. Kelsey of Russell Springs, KY, along with five grandchildren: Elizabeth, Andrew, Rebekah, Emily, and Carleigh, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Randy Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Holt-Tucker Cemetery, Hwy 1383, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be from 10amCT until the time of the service on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home.
