Mark Stapp, 54, Adair County, KY (1969-2024) Mark E. Stapp, of Columbia, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, having attained the age of 54 years, 10 months and 29 days. Mark was born Sunday, October 19, 1969, in Adair County, son of Phillip and Patsy Foskey Stapp. He was a self-employed auto body repairman and had a love for cars and trains. Mark enjoyed playing a hand of cards. He is survived by his wife, Shelia Popplewell Stapp; his mother, Patsy Stapp, of Russell Springs; his five sons, Quinton Stapp, of Columbia, Christian Stapp (and Ashley Caldwell), of Jamestown, Timothy (and Tiana) Stapp, of Albany, Justin Stapp, of Albany, and Malcolm Brown, of Bowling Green; his step-son, Caleb Russell, of Columbia; his brother, Jason (and Kristy) Stapp, of Russell Springs; his sister, April (and Lonnie) Robertson, of Russell Springs; and his four grandchildren. Mark is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Stapp. Funeral services are 2pmCT Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Interment will follow in Blakey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christian Stapp, Quinton Stapp, Timothy Stapp, Nathan Popplewell, Jason Stapp and Malcolm Brown. Visitation will be held after 11 Sunday.
