Ruth Elaine Martin, 82, Greensburg, KY (1942-2024) Ruth Elaine Clark Martin of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Russell Calvin Clark and Helena Christina Herschelman Clark was born on Tuesday, July 14, 1942 and departed this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was 82 years, 1 month, and 27 days of age. She was a lifetime University of Kentucky sports fan and loved to work in her flower garden. She was the former youth league softball coach and was an avid fan of many sports. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law: Karen Martin of Campbellsville, Billie Rae Rattliff of Greensburg, Carla Roy and Tony of Windsor; seven grandchildren: Stephen and Casey Milby of Greensburg, Felicia and JT Williams of Campbellsville, Stuart Roy of Windsor, Levi Rattliff of Greensburg, Chase and Bailey Roy, Spencer and Kirsten Roy all of Windsor, Macy Rattliff of Greensburg, seven great-grandchildren: Riddick, Blaydon, Brooks, Maverick, Lucas, Ayven, Barrett; two brothers: Toby Clark of California, Harold Wayne Clark of Indiana; one sister: Liz Lambert of Colorado; and had a lifelong bonded relationship with Debbie Berry and Kenny Clark. Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother: Rowena Clark, Madena Clark, Roy Clark. The funeral services for Ruth Elaine Clark Martin will be conducted at 2pmCT Sunday September 15, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Brenson Bishop officiating. Visitation is requested after 9:30 Sunday. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Green County Park Board for the Girls Youth Softball League which can be made at the funeral home.
