Remember to check your registration before Oct 7

From Lisa Greer, Adair County Clerk

Even if you're already registered to vote, you should check your registration before the October 7, 2024 deadline.

To confirm you are registered, to verify your address and voting precinct, or to register for the first time, visit GoVote.KY.gov. It's especially important to check your registration if you've changed address since the last election.
  • Did you move WITHIN your county?
Where you reside affects what precinct-specific ballot you receive. If you move within your county, you will always be able to vote but you will need to update your address.

  • Did you move to another county?
Where you reside affects and what ballot you receive. October 7, 2024 is the deadline to update your address so you can vote in the General Election.
Kentucky provides mail-in absentee voting for those with a valid excuse, as well as in-person absentee voting. We also have early no-excuse voting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Election Day. Of course, there is also Election Day!
