Ruth Conner, 92, Russell County, KY (1932-2024)

Ruth Conner, 92, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Fair Oaks Health Systems.

Ruth was born in McQueary County, on August 28, 1932, a daughter of the late Margaret Marlar and Edwin Wisdom. She was a homemaker.


Ruth is survived by her husband, Gene Conner, of Jamestown; sister-in-law, Janice Kemp, of OH; brother-in-law, Douglas Conner (Carolyn), of OH; special caretaker, Betty Mann, (Bobby G.), of Russell Springs, KY.

A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held 12pmCT on Friday, September 6th at Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Josh Owens officiating.

Public Visitation will be held 10amCT to 12noonCT on Friday, September 6th at Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Russell Springs, KY.

Burial in the Hickory Hill - Grider Hill Cemetery, Albany. KY.

Pallbearers; Larry Bennett, Daris Bennett, Richard Wooldridge, Clifton Bunch, Donnie Cooper, Wayne Radford, Jeremy Radford and honorary pallbearer Chris Ferguson. H.E. Pruitt funeral home in charge of arrangements.
