Voter turnout light for 2024 Kentucky Primary Of 13,993 registered voters in Adair County, 1,939 turned out to vote in the Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Primary Election, for a voter turnout of 13.86%. This was down from a year ago, when 18.7% of registered Adair County voters turned out for the 2023 May Primary. The low turnout was due in part to the limited ballot, which included only options for the largely already determined Presidential candidates. On the Democratic side of the ballot, incumbent President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., carried Adair County with 194 of 273 votes cast, for 71%. For the Republicans, former President Donald J. Trump received 1,539 of 1,662 votes cast, for 93%. Precinct-level totals are available at sos.ky.gov. This story was posted on 2024-05-22 20:19:46
