Larry Glover, 76, Russell County, KY (1947-2024) Larry Earl Glover passed away on April 29, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born to Earl and Georgia Glover on September 10, 1947. He served his country in the US Army for 4 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting pool with his brothers in his backyard on Friday nights. He enjoyed being home with Linda and their 2 pups, Scooter and Toby, watching a good UK ballgame. He professed his faith in Christ and was baptized recently along with his wife, Linda. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Wilson Glover, of Russell Springs; his mother, Georgia Jasper Glover, of Dunnville; his sons, Timmy Glover and Moe Glover, both of Russell Springs; his daughter, Debbie Ping, of Russell Springs; four brothers, Ruel Glover, Jack Glover, Kenny Glover, and Vince Glover, all of Russell Springs; one sister, Linda Glover Roberts, of Dunnville; four grandchildren, Charles Ping; Derrick Ping; Jacob Glover, and Cheyenne Glover; and four great-grandchildren, Lucy, Mable, Bethany, and Shelby. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Glover; and his sister, Barbara "Sissy" Wilson. Funeral services are 2pmCT on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Asa Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery, with military honors performed by the Russell County Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 5-8 on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be his sons, Timmy Glover, and Moe Glover; and his brothers, Ruel Glover, Jack Glover, Kenny Glover, and Vince Glover. This story was posted on 2024-04-30 23:43:48
