Sandra Sue Skaggs, 65, Green County, KY (1959-2024)

Sandra Sue Skaggs of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Fordyce Young Skaggs and Lola Margaret Warren Skaggs, was born on April 1, 1959 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She was welcomed into Heaven on her 65th birthday- April 1, 2024.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Ms. Skaggs was a former Certified Nursing Assistant and was a previous employee of the Adult Daycare in Summersville. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading.


Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Anna and Shannon Riggs of Mount Sherman, and Misty and Bradley Benton of Glendale; four grandchildren: Johsua Laws, Rebecca Riggs, Jesse Hackle and Lola Hackle; two great-grandchildren: Matthew Riggs and Trinity Riggs; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Junior & Cybil Skaggs and Mark & Kim Skaggs all of Mount Sherman and Roger & Velda Skaggs of Hodgenville; one sister and brother-in-law: Babs & Finis Berry of Summersville; two sisters-in-law: Ruby Skaggs of Mount Sherman and Betty Kaye Skaggs of Hodgenville; plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral services for Ms. Sandra Skaggs will be conducted at 5pmCT on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Finis Berry officiating. Visitation is requested after 3 until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be made in the form of donations to the funeral expense fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
