Victoria Lynn Groce, 62, Adair County, KY (1962-2024)

Victoria Lynn Groce, 62, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024. She was born on March 27, 1962, in Bowling Green, KY to the late Betty York Waid.

She was a member of the New Life for The Nations Church and enjoyed crocheting, reading, studying her bible, and spending time with her family and friends.


Survivors include her husband Joseph Groce of Columbia, KY; a son Roger Thurman (Nicole) of Knifley, KY; seven grandchildren Destiny Ellis, Josiah Thurman, Zhanyta Thurman, Brayden Thurman, Mille Thurman, Michelle Oglesby (Justin Burton), and Abby Parks; a great grandson Jasper Chance Burton; five siblings Joe Justis (Teresa), Gina Costello, Sugar Laura, James Elmore (Sandy), and Marsha Underwood; an aunt Elizabeth Burton and several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

The family chose cremation and services will be scheduled later.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
