Cathy Catron, 67, of Columbia, KY (1956-2024) Cathy Ann Catron of Columbia passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. She was 67 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Daryl Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pmCT until 8pmCt, and will continue Tuesday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born on October 31, 1956, in Adair County to the late Arlo Burton and Ruby Clarice Abston Grider. Ms. Catron was a member of the Freedom Separate Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, nature and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her companion Lee Tucker of Knifley, KY; her children Sonia Kay Tweedy (Rickie Tucker) of Columbia, KY and Leslie Tucker (Linda) of Columbia, KY; seven grandchildren Christian Leeann Furkin (Joshua Barrett), Lindsey Marie Furkin, Gage Tucker, Braxton Tucker, Brittney Tucker (Jody), Travis Tucker, and Bryson Tucker; seven great grandchildren Kamrynn Furkin, Leo Hausdorfer, Livia Foley, Easton Barrett, Devin Barrett, Brentley Stapleton, and Kason Stapleton; two siblings William "PeeWee" Butler of Columbia, KY and Teresa Franklin (Johnny) of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a child Mike Tucker and two sisters Doris Jean Cravens and Margaret Sue Wade. Pallbearers will be Jody Stapleton, Poochie Tucker, Trevor Tucker, Jared Tucker, Justin Tucker, Jeff Greer, and Devin Barrett. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
