ACHS boys beat Marion 71-56 in first round of District Indians next game is Friday night in District Tournament battle By Trey Stephens Sports Writer for Columbia Magazine The Adair County High School Boys Basketball team defeated the Knights of Marion County 71-56 in the first round of the 20th District Tournament Tuesday night hosted by Taylor County High School. This was the third time these two teams had met this season with Adair coming out victorious all three times. The Indians shot 52% from the floor, 18% from three, and 77% from the free throw line. The team was led in scoring by Connor Loy with 21 points followed by Isaiah Cochran with 19 points. The team's leading rebounder was also Isaiah Cochran with 11. The Indians will play again on Friday night in the District championship game against the winner of Wednesday's Campbellsville and Taylor County matchup. This story was posted on 2024-02-29 00:15:45
