George Davis, 77, Green County, KY (1946-2024) George Olen Davis, was born April 24, 1946 in Green County, KY to the late Olen Gumm and Vallie Kessler Davis. He departed this life on Sunday February 25, 2024 having attained the age of seventy-seven years, ten months and one day of age. He was of the Baptist Faith, was a farmer and enjoyed fishing. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers: Luard, Limon, Lawton, Leon and Billy Davis. Survivors include his wife: Inis D Arnett Davis; three sons: George Rodney Davis and his wife Barbara of Pierce, Randall Todd Davis and his fiance Laura Jo Wright, and Rick Davis and his fiance Monica Pierce; one daughter and son in law: Rhonda Michelle and Kerry Davis, all of the Grab Community; one sister: Shelby Benningfield of the Pierce Community; one sister in law: Lou Ellen Arnett of the Grab Community; nine grandchildren: Hayli, Tyler, Aryn, Braden, Josh, Rebecca, Josh, Olivia and Levi; fourteen great-grandchildren: Bristol, Brantlee, Brenna, Brodie, Barley, Josie, Cameryn, Peyton, Ben, Caleb, Natalie, Justice, Isaiah, and Kallie; one great great grandchild: Baylor , plus a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services for George Olen Davis will be held at 10amCT on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home officiated by Bro Garnett Wayne Davis and Bro Ronda Arnett, with burial to follow in the Judd Cemetery, in the Grab Community of Green County. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, and after 7am central time on Wednesday until the time of the funeral service. Pallbearers: Grandchildren and their Spouses Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Mays, Mark Davis, Preston Greer, Bendal Moran Expressions of Sympathy have been requested to go to the Oak Grove and Judd Cemetery Fund.
