Tompkinsville student wins LWC 2024 Idol contest

Another Lindsey Idol is in the books, and the 2024 winner is Austin Lee-Wausaukokamick, a senior theatre major from Tompkinsville, Ky. The contest featured three nights of competition that showcased talent across campus.

Judges had some difficult decisions to make during the event, deciding who would advance and who would ultimately win. The competition started with 10 contestants, each with special song choices to present to capacity crowds at the Hodge Center.

Austin Lee-Wausaukokamick, a senior theatre major from Tompkinsville, KY was chosen as the 2024 winner of the annual Lindsey Wilson College Idol contest. His winning songs were “Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone and “Rise Up” by Andra Day. The contest featured three nights of competition that showcased talent all across the campus.
