Dana Lee, 69, Casey County, KY (1954-2024) Dana Sue Lee, of Liberty, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was 69. Dana was retired owner and operator of Dairy Mart in Liberty for numerous years. She was a former member of the Casey County Cloggers. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and bingo. Born on July 10, 1954, in Casey County, Kentucky, a daughter of Howard and Darlene Jeanette Ropp Lay. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Russell Lee, who she wed on April 8, 1971; a son, Daniel Lee (Ken Dean) of Liberty; sisters, Angela (Mike) Murphy of Somerset and Christina Caron of Cincinnati; a brother, Bruce (Kelly) Leigh of Somerset; and two sisters-in-law, Tina Lay of Hustonville and Kimberly Lay of Lebanon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Christopher Jay Lay, Michael Lynn Lay, and Ricky Allen Lay. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, February 26, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Parton officiating. Burial will follow in Caney Fork Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Lee, Macie Lee, Grayson Murphy, Bryley Murphy, Logan Caron, and Christian Leigh. This story was posted on 2024-02-25 09:53:54
