Early and late services at Columbia UMC Christmas Eve By Doug Beard The Columbia United Methodist Church invites everyone to join together for sacred services of worship this Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th, 2023: 9amCT - Sunday School, 10am Morning worship service with special music including hymns of the season, the sanctuary bells and the Columbia UMC choir. At 11pmCT please join the pastor and congregation for our traditional Christmas Eve service. The service will feature beautiful carols, readings from the Holy Scriptures, a service of Holy Communion, and joining our voices in the singing of "Silent Night" by candlelight as we welcome the birth of the Messiah. Columbia United Methodist Church is located just off of the Public Square at 202 Burkesville St., Columbia, KY. "For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger."
