Proposed 2024-2025 Adair Co. Schools Calendar

The Adair County Schools Calendar Committee met earlier this week and developed a proposed calendar for the 2024-25 school year.

Student of Adair County Schools, parents/guardians of Adair County Schools students, local business people and community members are asked to review the proposed calendar and provide any feedback, thoughts, or ideas, using this Google Form.

The 2024-25 school calendar will receive a first reading at the December Board of Education Meeting. It will be fully approved at the January Board Meeting.

Proposed 2024-2025 Calendar (NOT official):


  • August 15, 2024: First Day for Students
  • September 2, 2024: No School, Labor Day Holiday
  • September 3, 2024: No School, Staff Planning Day
  • October 7-11, 2024: Fall Break
  • October 14, 2024: No School, Staff Planning Day
  • November 4, 2024: No School, Staff Planning Day
  • November 5, 2024: No School, Presidential Election Day
  • November 11, 2024: No School, Veterans Day
  • November 27-29, 2024: No School, Thanksgiving Holiday Break
  • December 19, 2024-January 1, 2025: No School, Christmas Holiday Break
  • January 20, 2025: No School, Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
  • January 21, 2025: No School, Staff Planning Day
  • February 17, 2025: No School, Presidents Day
  • April 7-11, 2025: Spring Break
  • April 14, 2025: No School, Staff Planning Day
  • May 27, 2025: Last Day for Students
Staff Planning Days will be utilized for staff members to analyze student data and work on curriculum and learning needs.
