Turkey Bowl Quiz Bowl held at ACHS

The Adair County Quizbowl Club was host for the Adair Turkey Bowl on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Students competed to answer questions on a wide variety of academic subjects. There were 7 schools in attendance, including Adair, Casey, and Russell County High Schools, and four teams from Tennessee: Cookeville High School, University School of Nashville, Gallatin High School, and Portland High School.

The Adair County High School A Team, comprised of Trey Stephens, Bailey Watts, Joe Kotter and Andrew Zinati, fared best among the local teams, finishing in 6th place overall. Trey Stephens placed 9th in individual scoring.

The top 6 were finishers were:
  1. University School of Nashville (USN) A
  2. Cookeville A
  3. Cookeville B
  4. University School of Nashville B
  5. University School of Nashville C
  6. Adair County A
Staff and players from Glasgow and Adair County High Schools are planning to hold the Glasgow/Adair Middle School 2 Tournament on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Glasgow High School, 1601 Columbia Avenue, Glasgow, KY.
