New Adair County School Superintendent announced The Adair County School Board voted unanimously to contract with Jason Faulkner to be the new District Superintendent in a special called meeting Wednesday, June 7, 2023. The contract is for $136,000 per year for four years beginning July 1, 2023 and continuing through June 30, 2027. He introduced himself and his family. Faulkner is an educator from London, Laurel County, KY. He attended the meeting with his wife, their two children along with his mother and father. Faulkner said, "You all have an amazing district and I have a lot of ideas for innovation so I am extremely excited to begin this chapter." Board members Troy Grider, Destiny Greer, Dana King, Terry Harvey and Chairman David Karnes agreed it had been a long road through a lot of good applicant interviews. They felt they'd made the best choice and pledged their full support. This story was posted on 2023-06-07 23:06:53
