Brenda Shofner, 72, Campbellsville, KY (1950-2023) Brenda Kay Corbin Shofner of Campbellsville departed this life at 12:28 P.M. on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was 72 years old. The funeral service for Brenda Kay Corbin Shofner will be conducted at 11amET on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery. The family requests visitation on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5pmET until 8pmET at the funeral home. Brenda Kay Corbin Shofner, daughter of the late Linward Beal Corbin and Ida Bell Perkins Corbin, was born, June 30, 1950 in Taylor County. She enjoyed being a mother to her twin sons, cooking and working in her flowers. She was a former employee of Big-K in Elmhurst Plaza having worked in the shoe dept. She was an avid UK fan and enjoyed watching basketball. Survivors include:
Pallbearers: Brad Derrick Shofner, Tommy Corbin, Blake Corbin, Bobby Rhodes, Jamie Eads and Ryan Moss. Honorary Pallbearers: Chad Eric Shofner and Joe Rucker. L.R.
