Miles receives 2023 Health Hero Award

From Jeff Neagle
Lake Cumberland District Health Department

The Lake Cumberland District Health Department (LCDHD) presented Dr. Richard Miles with The Dr. Hossein Fallahzadeh Public Health Hero Award on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the Russell County Health Department.

"Being chosen for the 2023 Dr. Hossein Fallahzadeh Public Health Hero Award is an honor on so many levels. To receive an award named after my colleague and good friend Dr. Fallahzadeh is humbling," said Dr. Miles. "I'm not a hero, but by receiving this award, for one brief moment, touches my heart for the desire to be that person, that hero. I can never thank you enough for this honor and this award."
