ACHS Academic team competes in Quizbowl

The ACHS Academic/Quizbowl team played Saturday at Gallitan High School in Gallitan, TN. The team on Saturday consisted of team captain Trey Stephens, 11th grade, and Joseph Kotter, 10th grade.

The pair finished 13th overall, out of 28 teams from across Tennessee and the state of Kentucky. Adair finished as the best team from Kentucky, over Franklin Simpson. In addition, Trey Stephens received a trophy for finishing as the 3rd overall individual scorer.

Trey says, "We were very happy with the finish as it was just two of us against mostly teams of 4."

The tournament was put on the by the Gallitan High School NJROTC and sponsored by Ponce Law.
