Tennis: LWC heads to Kansas for ITA NAIA NTI Championship

The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's tennis team prepare to compete in ITA NAIA National Team Indoor Championships, taking on No. 2 Keiser (FL) in the first round in Overland Park, KS, hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University, to transpire on Feb. 3 through 5, 2023.

Bringing in the top NAIA programs from across the country, the teams participating on the men's side include Georgia Gwinnett, Indiana Wesleyan, Kansas Wesleyan, Keiser, Xavier (LA), Tennessee Wesleyan, and Northwestern Ohio. The women's side includes the same first five teams from the men's side but LSU Alexandria, SCAD Savannah (GA) round out the field.


Last match Anastasiia Ivanchenko and Salome Sposetti were the lone Blue Raiders to notch wins against UIndy, eventually falling to the Greyhounds 2-5 on the women's side while the men did not secure a win, being downed 0-7 on last Sunday.

The all-time series against Keiser is totaled at 2-3 in favor of the Seahawks for the men's team and an even 1-1 split for the women's team.

The match will kick off at 11:30amCT for the men's side and 3pmCT for the women's side at the Overland Park Racquet Club. Live stats will be available for both matches.
