Judy Ferguson, 72, Greensburg, KY (1950-2023)

Judy Lynn Aaron Ferguson of Greensburg departed this life on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was 72 years old.

The funeral services for Judy Lynn Aaron Ferguson will be conducted at 2pmCT on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Cliffton Sullivan and Bro. John Aaron officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Wednesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and will continue after 7amCT on Thursday until time for the funeral service.


Judy Lynn Aaron Ferguson, daughter of the late Ben Aaron and Audrey Lloyd Aaron, was born on Monday, January 16, 1950 in Albany, Clinton County, Kentucky.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a faithful member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was bookkeeper for James Ferguson Trucking Company, was an awesome seamstress, a great mother, wonderful granny, and loving wife.

Survived by her husband of 55 years, James "Jimmy" Ferguson of Greensburg having united in marriage on May 20, 1967.

Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Mike and Connie Ferguson, and Joey and Lisa Ferguson all of Knifley; a daughter and son-in-law: Audrey and Bryan Cross of Greensburg; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Terry and Sherry Aaron of Greensburg, Benny and Laura Aaron of Campbellsville, and John and Donna Aaron of Greensburg; a sister and brother-in-law: Majel Aaron Harris and Kenny Harris of Greensburg; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Jackie and Beverly Ferguson of Jamestown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Ferguson was also preceded in death by a grandchild: Tyler Aaron Ferguson; and a sister-in-law: Shirley Latham.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Bethlehem Baptist Church Youth, which can be made at the funeral home.
