Gail Shaw, 85, Campbellsville, KY (1937-2023) Gail Shaw of Campbellsville died at 2:05 A.M., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in Louisville. She was 85 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Dr. Jeff Eaton. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Sunday. Gail Shaw, daughter of the late John A. Miller and Mary Brubaker Miller, was born August 17, 1937 in Ironton, Ohio. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. Gail was a retired schoolteacher with the Taylor County School System. She united in marriage to Don Shaw June 3, 1956. Besides her husband, Don Shaw of Campbellsville, Gail is survived by one son and one daughter: Mary Jo Hazel and husband, Nick of Campbellsville and David Shaw and wife, Sue of Lexington; seven grandchildren: Patrick Shaw of New York, Meredith Forssman and husband, Julius of Germany, Matthew Hazel and wife, Ashley, Justin Hazel and wife, Taylor and Carlie Hazel of Campbellsville, Jared Shaw and Tyler Shaw of Frankfort; two great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way; one brother, Bill Miller and wife, Jerri of Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Gail was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Shaw in July, 2018. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
