Alice L. Pruitt, 90, Adair Co., KY native (1932-2022) Alice L. Pruitt of Indianapolis passed away on December 21, 2022. She was 90 years old. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 10amET until the time of service at NoonET at Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel, 3333 E. Thompson Road, Indianapolis, IN. She was born September 19, 1932 in Vester, Kentucky to the late Riley and Delie Burton. Alice married Roy L. Pruitt April 21, 1950 and was most recently employed with the City of Indianapolis in the Mayor's Action Call Center for six years, retiring in 1997. Alice was a member of Whosoeverwill Baptist Church, Edinburgh. Alice is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Roy L. Pruitt; children, Michael L. Pruitt (Shaune), Larry K. Pruitt (Darletta), Sheila K. Hill, Terry A. Pruitt (Sandra), Kevin D. Pruitt (Kim), and Jeffrey L. Pruitt (Darla); brother, Nathaniel Burton (Ada); 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by 10 brothers and one sister. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
