NAIA FCS Pairings: LWC Football to host Reinhardt

Lindsey Wilson football is the No. 8 overall seed in the NAIA Football Championship Series and will host a first-round playoff game on Saturday, NAIA officials announced on Sunday with the release of the championship field.

The Blue Raiders (9-1) face Reinhardt (GA) on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Parnell Family Stadium, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY. The meeting is the fifth between the two programs as LWC is 1-3 all-time in the series. Kickoff set for 12:30pmCT.


Lindsey Wilson received an at-large bid into the championship, marking the eighth time in program history the Blue Raiders have made the field.

Lindsey Wilson -- who is 11-6 all-time in the FCS, including a 9-2 at home during the playoffs - has advanced to at least the semifinals the past three seasons including winning the 2020 NAIA National Championship.

No. 9 Reinhardt (8-1) won the Appalachian Athletic Conference title to earn the conferences automatic bid and will play in its eighth FCS appearance with a 6-6 all-time record.
