Tamara (Tami) Jean Smith, 58, Edmonton, KY (1963-2022)

Tamara "Tami" Jean Smith of Edmonton passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville. She was 58 years old.

Funeral services for Tami will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East St, Edmonton, KY. Interment will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 8:30amCT on Saturday, until service time at Butler Funeral Home.


Tami was born October 18, 1963 to the late Orville and Thelma Thurman Garmon.

Tami attended the Casey Fork Church of Christ and was formerly employed by Dr. Charles Townsend as his receptionist.

Tami is survived by her husband Dwight Smith. A daughter Tiffany Thomas (Anthony Wilson) of Edmonton. Two grandchildren. Star Acree of Edmonton and Jacob Wilson. A brother Roger Garmon and wife Vickie of Mt. Washington, Ky.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
