Gerald Ann Brown, 80, Taylor County, KY (1941-2022)

Gerald Ann Brown, 80, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Mings and Cora Farmer Mings, was born October 15th, 1941, in Taylor County and departed this life on Monday, July 18th, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

She professed her faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Gerald worked at the Fruit of the Loom for many years as a set sleeve. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a dear friend.



She united in marriage to Ezra Thomas Brown on August 16th,1956, and he preceded her death in 1981.

Survived by two daughters: Betty Vannice and her significant other, Harry McClandon, of Campbellsville; and Cindy Gail Harden, of Campbellsville.

Six grandchildren: Allan Thomas Skaggs, of Campbellsville; Rachael Mae Cox, of Campbellsville; Rebecca "Becky" JoAnn Scruggs, of Adair County; John Thomas Brown, of Campbellsville; and Melissa French and her husband, Kevin, of Campbellsville; and William Thomas Brown of Little Rock Arkansas.

Three great grandchildren: Damien Lynn Scruggs of Adair County; Autumn Scruggs, of Campbellsville; Austin Gilpin, of Adair County.

One great-great-granddaughter: Ellia Scruggs of Adair County.

Besides her parents and her husband, Gerald is preceded in death by:

Two sons: Thomas Kendell Brown and Gary Dean Brown.

Four brothers and five sisters.

FUNERAL: Thursday, July 21st, 2022, at 2pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville. Visitation from 11am-2pm.

Bro. John Batcher will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Harry McClandon, Damian Scruggs, Jeff Scruggs, Ronnie Morgan, Janet Mings, and Zack Watson.

Honorary pallbearer: Autumn Scruggs.

Burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
